Teachers’ Choir Sebastatsies was founded in 2012 with the initiative of the Educational Foundation ″Sebastatsiner″, the artistic director-conductor is Harutyun Topikyan, founder of Yerevan Chamber Choir, honored artist of RA.

It is an open quartet choir and consists of the pedagogical staff of the Educomplex. The choir performs spiritual and secular songs by Komitas, other medieval Armenian chants and the songs by modern Armenian composers, spreads them with educational-cultural-country study campaign concerts, educational liturgies, organizes national rituals and participates in them. The concerts are accompanied by the performances of the author educational programs and educational exchanges.

The choir performs songs in acting and ruined churches, in the areas of other historical monuments and museums, in the village and town squares, concert halls, contributes to the creation of pedagogical choirs.

In all its initiatives, the choir has the blessing and support of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The choir disseminates its activities on the blog.

The Choir Sebastatsies always gives immediate respond to the invitations to give concerts in Armenia and outside Armenia.

The trainings of the choir are open, and are organized in the Sebastia Concert Hall of the Educomplex Mother School on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 15:15 – 16:30.
